Old Growth is a northwest acoustic folk/punk/indie duo (or trio) from Washington State. The band is Danny Dalton, guitar, and Alex Griffin, percussion. Eventually Coltyn Giles will rejoin us, as well. We just completed a spring break tour of the west, ranging from Bellingham, Washington all the way to San Diego with stops along the way, then across to Vegas, Salt Lake, and Denver. Thanks to all who made it such a success!
About Us
Danny Dalton is a singer/songwriter from various spots in Western Washington... currently attending Western Washington University in Bellingham. Alex Griffin is a drummer and percussionist from Grapeview, Washington who is a music Major at University of Colorado, Denver.
Our third member, Coltyn Giles, is on sabbatical for another year, plus. Well, actually, he is completing a Mormon mission. Coltyn plays every instrument known to man. We can't wait to see what Brazilian instruments we can add to our sound.
